Uncommon Sense Appoints Rob O’Shea as Account Director

22/01/2026

Uncommon Sense has appointed Rob O’Shea as Account Director, strengthening the agency’s media and performance capability as it continues to grow. Rob joined the business in January from a large global media agency in London, where he led integrated media strategies for high-spend, high-pressure global and regional accounts, bringing over eight years’ experience in full‑funnel planning, data‑driven optimisation and client leadership.

Rob brings extensive experience planning and delivering multi-channel digital campaigns across sectors including automotive, FMCG and consumer products. His background spans paid media strategy, optimisation and execution across digital, out-of-home and TV, with a strong technical focus on attribution, spend efficiency and performance reporting. He has led complex campaigns end-to-end; from planning and buying through to aggregation, analysis and client reporting, and is highly skilled in turning data into clear, commercial insight.

Since joining Uncommon Sense, Rob has already hit the ground running, taking ownership of key client accounts and playing a central role in campaign delivery and optimisation. His technical depth, speed of execution and attention to detail have made an immediate impact, and he will be responsible for overseeing media strategy and performance across a growing portfolio of clients.

Outside of work, Rob is a committed Arsenal supporter, spends most weekends watching football, and somehow still finds time for rugby, despite the obvious conflict. We’re delighted to have him on board and excited about the value he’s already bringing to the agency and our clients.
